New Year, New Studio, New work

What can I say, last year was tough. In good ways, but exhausting. I finished a Advanced Diploma at the start of the year, had a new baby boy, built a home and new studio and held a solo exhibition. So its with great pleasure that I say my new studio is OPEN! Situated in Lethbridge, 25 mins on a country rd from Geelong, Vic. Exciting times as I prepare the studio for the Golden planes art trail in March, and I start on a new body of work based on retro toys.

Come for a visit, see works in progress, and available work "in the flesh" Chat about a commission. I will also be holding "professional Development " workshops for artist's again too. Thankyou all for your support in my life's passion and I hope to see you in the new year! x

New work and thoughts from the Studio...

Lino cuts are back!

(wipe brow) Its been huge in the studio over the past month, with large oil on canvas pieces, pastel on pastel board and mixed media work all being produced for various exhibitions and awards. A large chuck of my time and focus have been on lino cat printing and the making of half a dozen new plates.  The themes have been varied including Childhood, Dragonflies and Art Deco objects.

Such a fantastic media that you can come back to again and again and really experiment with. I like to produce a standard black ink, then work one with colourful Inks over the top, and also play with the paint colour. They come in Editions of 25 but every print is different. Pop over to the Gallery page and check out the new prints!
